1776 Antonio Francisco Lisboa, carpenter, pardo (mixed race), single, 37 years of age, born in Vila Rica, called to the southern border of Brazil to fight against the Spanish (reproduced in Geraldo Dutra de Moraes, O Aleijadinho de Vila Rica, 1977)
